Helms College Garden
at Wrights Farm
Helms College Garden at Wrights Farm is a 5-acre vegetable production farm that primarily focuses on supplying the local community with high quality produce through a partnership between Southeastern Development and Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia & the CSRA. With a focus on education, Helms College Garden at Wrights Farm will provide experiential learning opportunities to Helms College students as well as community members who want to learn more about agriculture and the many facets of vegetable production. Additionally, the farm will provide farm-to-table products for Edgar’s Hospitality Group.

Edgar’s Hospitality Group is compelled by three important missions: provide guests with an exceptional dining experience, create innovative and exciting meals and enable the local community to lift up neighbors through partnership with Helms College and its dynamic training program. Named after Dr. Edgar Helms, the founder of Goodwill, Edgar’s Hospitality Group is the hospitality division of Goodwill Industries that manages Augusta’s The Pinnacle Club, Edgar’s Grille, Edgar’s Bakehouse, Snelling Conference Center and Edgar’s Above Broad, in addition to Edgar’s Bistro and Anderson Conference Center in Macon, Ga. Edgar’s Hospitality Group also provides event catering and manages foodservice contracts and is affiliated with Helms College, a private postsecondary school sponsored by Goodwill of Middle Georgia, Inc.
